Originally from Alabama, Priscilla Lalisse-Jespersen moved to Paris in 1999 after having worked in New York City as a magazine editor. After writing her first novel Stockdale and contributing regularly to online publications where her very personal articles often chronicle the French experience through American eyes, she launched her own magazine, Prissy Mag. Her latest book entitled Next of Kin was released in January 2011. In 2012 PLJ launched Black Hair in Paris to explore black hair adventures in the fabulous city of light.
